| Description: | JOB DESCRIPTION Qualifications required: · Three to five years experience in application design, development and implementation. · Assisted or lead in user training and support. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Strong interpersonal skills. · Proficient in the use of office automation software. · Liasion between end users and developers. · Developed application and user documentation. · Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience. · Knowledge of client/server and relational database concepts. · Willingness to travel to our sales offices. Pluses would include direct experience with – Order Entry, Inventory Control, Warehouse Management, and minimal EDI applications. A working knowledge of UNIX, Windows,Microsoft Office, and Help desk experience. Responsibilities include: · Supporting our user base in Order Entry, Inventory Control, WMS and EDI. · Serving as a liaison between our users and software vendors. · Presentations to various levels of employees or vendors. · Training users on computer solutions to business problems. · Evaluating user requests for software enhancements. · Identifying and evaluating new potential software solutions for our sales offices. · Implementing and interfacing those software solutions. · Developing techniques to insure that current functionality is fully incorporated into any new application environment. · Creating testing criteria to be used by developers to confirm accuracy. · Developing documentation manuals for users. Salary is commensurate with experience. Right-to Hire: $40-45 hr. / 6 months |
