  • Position: Senior Java Lead Developer
    Assignment: 7 months with option to hire
    Project: Universal E-Delivery
    Location: Edgewood, NY
     
    General: We’re looking for a candidate with 10 years of experience and at least 4 years of managing/leading a project delivering production systems. Must have experience in delivering live internet applications with 100+ user base.
    Knowledge of security standards involved in delivering internet portals. Thrive under pressure and have excellent communication skills
     
    Technical Skills:
    Framework:
    • Should have strong skills developing multi-tiered applications
    • Excellent OO Design and programming skills
    • Understanding of MVC and Service oriented architecture
    • Struts or similar framework
    • Experience working with WebSphere application server and RAD
    Database:
    • Strong relational database skills with ability to understand Stored Procedures, SQL joins and indexes.
    • Familiar with issues related to performance while writing SQL queries
    • Strong skills in Database design
    Programming:
    • Strong Core Java
    • Strong skills in JSP and Servlet programming using sessions, cookies etc.
    • Strong skills in JDBC, familiar in using annotation
    • Strong in JavaScript, JQUERY and AJAX (MUST HAVE)
    • Knowledge of CSS is essential
    • Knowledge of Web Services is a plus
    • Experience in working with DB2 (MUST)
