Defined Benefits/Defined Contribution Plan Administrator
Full-time Permanent Position Third Party Administration company is looking for DB/DC Administrator. Data Collection: - Gather necessary information for FDR's in a timely manner. - Ensure data follow-up procedures are adhered to - Review incoming data for accuracy - Implement process to correct errors in a timely manner. - Payroll log in for 401(k) Plans. - Billing follow-up as needed. Valuation Reports: - Load asset and census data soon after receipt - If necessary, perform Trust Accounting Services, ensuring guidelines are adhered to - For 401(k) Plans, perform Deposit Maintenance on a regular basis - Prepare a product that is accurate and complete for review by Enrolled Actuary. - Ensure that follow-up procedure for contributions is done in a timely manner. - Ensure Valuation Report to be sent is complete and accurate and that all pertinent information is well communicated to the client. - Turn around time is generally three to six weeks Government Forms: - Reconcile necessary trust data, track on 5500 format for file. - Follow-up for missing information in a timely manner. - Prepare a product that is accurate and complete for review by Enrolled Actuary. - Ensure that filing deadlines (5500, 5558, PBGC, etc.) are clearly met at all times. - Ensure forms package is mailed ot the client in a complete and timely manner. Communication: - Give appropriate feedback to Enrolled Actuary, President and vice President include the use of e-mail to report each conversation with clients and referral souces within one hour per call. - Establish and maintain work priorities. - Answer client and advisor queries in a prompt and professional manner. Miscellaneous: - Ensure that election forms are received and reviewed for accuracy for all 401(k) plan clients. - Perform appropriate testing for all 401(k) plan clients. - Demonstrate current knowledge of Tax Laws and keep current with any changes - Maintain working knowledge of all computer systems including updates - Keep current with tax law changes and demonstrate such knowledge. Plan Design and New Business: - Develop and calculate new business proposals. -- Assure proper implementation -- New Business Tracking General Responsibilities: - Work as a team member with all staff. - Ensure efficient work habits, including organized files. - Maintain proper decorum - Provide ongoing communication with all staff. - Complete tasks as they may occur, promptly and accurately. Actuarial / Jr. Actuarial experience a Big Plus. DB/DC Plan Administrator Compensation is open and commensurate with experience. No Visa sponsorship is available. |
