Overall Purpose of Job:
Seeking a Business Intelligence Lead with hands-on experience in data warehouses and BI to design and develop Business Reports, Dashboards with Oracle BI and analytics product suite such as OBIEE, Essbase. Must have experience with other leading BI technologies such as Business Objects. Responsible for the maintenance of all aspects of the Business Objects and Oracle OBIEE tool suite and the production and development BO environment.  Must have an understanding of a variety of financial products such as commercial lending, collateralized obligations, derivatives, securitization and fixed income. Experience in SDLC waterfall and agile methodologies, developing business and functional requirements. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with business and technology teams.
  
Essential Functions with percent of time spent and importance rating 1, 2, 3 (1 is highest)  (%  and 1, 2, 3)
  • Administration and Support of  Business Objects and Oracle OBIEE development and provide application support (30% - 1)
  • Develop and maintain reports, Universes and macros to support the business community. (40% - 1)
  • Provide training for the end-user in formulating reports and queries. Interact with users to document and Analyze Business Requirements and deliver results appropriately. (15% - 2)
  • On-going research into new technologies and end user tools to enhance the productivity, quality and performance of the result set.  (15% - 3)
Experience/Abilities:
  • Lead BI Developer with strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and dimensional databases.
  • He/she should possess strong systems architecture and design skills. 
  • Must have excellent communication skills to interact with end users. Should have excellent problem solving skills. 
  • Must have 7+ years’ experience with SAP Business Objects development, Oracle OBIEE and Hyperion Essbase tools. Knowledge of Unix shell, VBA, OFSA, and data modeling a plus.
  • 5+ Years of Experience with design and development with Oracle OFSAA/AAI 11g
  • Experience in with various SDLC methodologies.
Education:
  • Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 5+ years of IT experience
